Pesach - Jaffa

Following lots of recommendations for Leah Bowman's fun Israel walking tours, we are thrilled to offer you an exclusive LoveLoveIsrael tour of Jaffa and the old train station!

When? The private tour will be on Wednesday 16th April 2014 - A beautiful and meaningful day along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in Jaffa/Tel Aviv - a truly gorgeous way to spend chol hamoed with your family!

Time: Starting promptly at 10am-4pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start. A full day of fun!


What ages? All children are welcome and the prices are for age 5+. The tour is stroller accessible (just one part where it will need to be carried). However please respect the group and if your younger child is disruptive, move them away from the group as appropriate!

Details: 

See the ancient and modern port of Jaffa - key to many events in Jewish history. Everyone will enjoy the new multi-sensory presentation "Jaffa Tales" at the Jaffa Visitor Center. Enjoy browsing in some of the famous Jaffa art galleries and time to picnic in the Jaffa park. Next, continue along the boardwalk to hear about the role of the Etzel and Menachem Begin in the battle for Jaffa in 1948 outside the Etzel Musuem. Along the boardwalk, you not be able to resist dipping your feet in the sparkling Sea!  Next, just a short walk across the street to the "Tachana," Tel Aviv's newly renovated train station with lots of shops, and a fantastic 3D movie in an historic train car. Conclude this amazing day with a visit to Neve Tzedek to hear about how the modern city of Tel Aviv developed outside the walls of the Old City of Jaffa.

-Jaffa tends to be very warm – bring lots of water to drink and also to wash off sandy feet!

115 shekels per adult and 65 shekels per child ages 5-16
